J. K. Miller has secured a lease and bond on the Conda and the R. M. C. and the Gift lodes on Tenderfoot hill. They are putting a shaft down on the Conda on a contact between granite and porphyry. One of the conditions of the lease is he must patent all the properties. There will be considerable adverse litigation in the process.

SHERIFF'S SALE.
By virtue of fieri facias on transcript from justice court issued out of the clerk's office of the district court of Teller county and state of Colorado, and to me directed, whereby I am commanded to make the sum of seventy-four and fifteen one hundredths dollars ($74.15), and cost of suit, the amount of a certain judgment recently obtained against George Bodfish, in favor of Moys Hardware Company, out of the lands, tenements, goods and chattels of the said George Bodfish, I have levied on the following property to-wit:
All the right, title and interest of George Bodfish, of, in and to the Sounol, the Triangle, the Waconda, The Gift and the R. & C. lode mining claims, situate in the Cripple Creek mining district, county of Teller and state of Colorado.
Therefore, according to said command, I shall expose for sale, at public auction, all the right, title and interest of the above named George Bodfish in and to the above described property, on Tuesday, the 19th day of September, 1899, at 10 o'clock a.m., at the south front door of the sheriff's office in the court house in Cripple Creek, Teller county, Colorado.
Dated at Cripple Creek this 27th day of August, 1899.
