Pay rock has been uncovered in another heretofore undeveloped section of the Cripple Creek district. Lessees operating on the KlondykeKlondike claim, located on Mt. Evy, just west of Pony Gulch, are getting some very good assays practically at grass roots.
The indications are good for a strong well paying shoot when more depth is attained. The shaft is less than 25 feet deep at present, but a small ore shoot gives returns of $25 per ton.
This find will without a doubt stimulate prospect and development work in this outside section of the camp.
