VALUES INCREASING.
The Margaret, on the north slope of Bull hill, near the Grassy townsite, has just encountered a vein of ore that will perhaps increase in value as depth is gained. At a depth of 18 feet the ore ran a trifle over $14 a ton, and at 22 feet the values had increased to over $18 a ton, and the prospects are that much better ore will be found deeper.
