Denver.—E. B. Meck and associates, working the International Gold King on Gold hill, have at a depth of 200 ft. opened a 3-ft. shoot that gives better than 2 ounces all the way across. It carries a 2-in. seam that runs up to $112 per ton.

Three sets of lessees, operating through the Good Will tunnel on the properties of the Fair Chance and Progress Gold Mining Co., have found ore, and shipments will soon be made.

Strong veins of low-grade ore occur, and the lessees expect to be able to stope this above the adit level and ship it at a profit.
