Info Title:
Teutonic Lessees Duncan & Cain in Promising Ore

Colorado Springs, Jan. 18.—Lessees Duncan and Cain, who are operating the Teutonic property under lease, which is located on Ironclad Hill, have opened up a body of ore which from present appearances is believed will return hundreds of thousands of dollars to the lessees and to the owner of the claim.

The Teutonic claim comprises 4½ acres, the controlling interest being owned by Miss Mollie O'ByranO'Bryan, a well-known stenographer of this city, who has of late refused a number of offers for this property. The sum of $75,000 was proffered by one syndicate, but was turned down.

However, since the new development has taken place $150,000 would be much nearer the figure the property will bring.

Corrected spelling of last name of Miss Mollie as it was typed 'Byran'

Info Title:
Teutonic Mine During 1904
The only other property on Ironclad Hill known to the writer as having been especially prominent in the latter part of the year 1904 is the Teutonic, no doubt chiefly because of its proximity to the W. P. H. Reports have been current of the discovery of ore in the main development workings on the easterly end of the claim, but these have not materialized in shipments and are otherwise not well authenticated.
graphic for visual presentation of text Towards the western end of the claim, near the surface in a new shaft, a well-confirmed discovery has been made of eighteen inches of good ore.
