Brooklyn Adit Tunnel Strike by Lessees
A strike of importance has been made on the Brooklyn claim, on Bull hill, by Reiton & Saunders, who have a lease from the Stratton estate. At a depth of 40 ft., working through the tunnel, ore has been encountered and a sample picked from the muck pile ran $33 per ton.
The vein is about 3 ft. wide.
