I have no other info except this is mention in an Feb. 16, 1896 article in Morning Times Newspaper; The Britanica is the name of a new tunnel project just started, and adding another to the list on Cow mountain. A wealthy English syndicate is back of the enterprise. The tunnel enters on the north slope.
