General notes:
This claim is a confusing one, as I find references to it, but it do not seem to exist officially.
It is not drawn on the BLM Section Map.
It is not visible on the 1903 Portland Annual Map, but, it sort of shows partly as there is drawn a Compromise Line on the Last Effort claim that cut that claim into almost two queal parts with a 45 degree angle on it, the Gurley part being the largest part.
It show better, sort of, in the 1900 Hills Manual Book
but apart it also shows sort of from a piece of map in my collection I don't have it any other place, and there seems to be no Patent for it either.
In Morning Times Newspaper of September 22, 1899 I read that W. B. Jenkins gave Mining Deed to Rose Nicol G. M. Co. his Interest in this and two other lodes for $25,000.
Making me think this claim is carved out of the Last Effort and the Dexter lodes, and never made it to a official claim, map, it just become known as the Gurley claim...
