      Plat Map shows a small claim that is even smaller in owned ground department, but it has two Shafts marked, the Discovery Shaft and a second Shaft further south. None of those are marked on the USGS 1903 topo-map, so while the 1902 Hill's Manualette say there is a 50 foot shaft that has produced some ore, it was not enough for it to be deemed important enough to end up on the USGS map.
      graphic for visual presentation of text What is confusing as I do not know the story though, is why the ground in this claim, more or, also is the same ground as appears on the Alpha No. 2 lode claim, both these claims has their Disc. Shafts on this piece of ground.
