Cayuga Lessee Adit Cut Good Veins
Outside properties in the Cripple Creek district are still claiming the attention of mining men, and the boundaries of the producing area of the camp are being gradually extended.
A lessee on the Cayuga claim, on Trachyte mountain has driven a tunnel in 50 feet, and has already cut two good veins. Assays give returns of from $4 to $8 per ton, which will pay well if the ore is treated by the cyanide process.
