Bond and Stock Co., 421 Olive-st., St. Louis, Mo., for erection of a cyanide mill, leveling foundation and erecting building therefor, as more fully stated in our issue of Sept. 21. graphic for visual presentation of text In reference to the above a representative called on the Financial Agents, and learned that quite a number of bids are on file and under consideration by Mill Committee, that erection will soon be proceeded with; they will start with 50 to 100 ton capacity mill, and increase the capacity.

graphic for visual presentation of text Special Examining Committee report $8,400,000, as the amount shown in sight in the blanket ore vein on the Aspen, Burlington and Mayflower, three of the seventeen properties of The Lincoln Mountain Company, in the Cripple Creek District, Colorado, for which the above Cyanide Mill is to be erected.

graphic for visual presentation of text Considering that the stock of the Home Mining Company, of Leadville, being capitalized for much larger amount, rose from 15 cents to $15.00 per share, on it being developed that there were $2,000,000 of ore reserves in sight, as against $8,400,000 in the Lincoln Mountain Company's properties, being all located in the Cripple Creek District, Colorado, it is reasonably estimated that the Lincoln stock will advance to $50 per share and over.

graphic for visual presentation of text The capitalization is only $250,000, but a representative was informed that it has been determined to increase the capitalization to $5,000,000 when the dividend basis is reached. Then Lincoln Mountain stockholders will receive 20 for 1; that these shares of the increased capitalization will most likely command higher price than present selling price of Lincoln Mountain stock, namely, $2.00 per share on the $250,000 capitalization, and that only limited allotments can be secured.

graphic for visual presentation of text A member of the Examining Committee, after the committee returned from their examination, secured 10,000 shares at $2.00 per share. It is not likely that an amount anywhere near that could be secured now at anything less than an average of $10.00 per share, notwithstanding the distribution in small lots at the lower price.
graphic for visual presentation of text
graphic for visual presentation of text By interview with several of the insiders, the representative formed the conclusion that this distribution in small lots is probably for the purpose of better controlling the market later at very much higher prices to which stock will advance as soon as the wealth of the vast ore reserves of the property becomes more generally known.
