      The Plat Map shows a broken up lode claim, with the Discovery Cut in the west, with a Tunnel snaking its way into the hill from the west.
      graphic for visual presentation of text On the 1903ish USGS topomap there is a Prospect Shaft (X) marking near this point, but I have no way to tell if that is the same point or if there was a shaft there, as it has not been a 100% always use of a Adit marking on that topomap, sometimes there are either a Prospect or regular Shaft ('half shaded square') marking, so in this case I can't tell for sure.
