This Short Line Blue Book is in what I would consider to be a Good shape, but it has some issues, like; all the pages are loose as the staples had rusted away, in addition to: Hole at Staple {All pages in various size] | Discoloration around missing staples | Smudges, Smears & Spots {Here and there] | Corner Folds {Here and there]. But, still, to me this is one of the clearly better looking ones, even if it of course has what I would call the "been in use" look!
The Book consist of 92 pages including front and back page, but only 84 of them is numbered. This issue is Volume 5, Number 5 and is dated August 1, 1905. It contains pages filled with advertisements, various railroads timetables, images and text for not only the Short Line, but most of the larger area extending to all of Colorado for some pieces of info.
The views are mostly from along the Short Line trip, and is mostly the same used over and over in the various issues of the Short Line Blue Book, but there are other views to, mostly from ads and other nice scenery items meant to showcase something.
I hope you enjoy sort of reading this book by browsing these images, as I do find enjoyment in the fact that I am able to share it here for all to see/find. After all, these books can be hard to find, and sometimes quite expensive! This issue was among those I do luck out on though, and it did "only" cost me USD 24.43 with shipping to Norway through a friend as it was the only option I had when I got this in early December of 2020.
-> Pieces from this book might appear in other sections of my site as text info.
Enjoy this little trip back to yesterday! Also, if you ever feel for donate something to help me funding my site, please use this PayPal link.
