Eight miles from Colorado Springs. In this scene you get to see a rare view of a Section house along the Short Line, the home of the men who are responsible for the perfect condition of the track and roadbed. After the train passes through the cut beyond the section house, it winds around the rim of North Cheyenne Canon, whose scenic grandeur is famous the world over.

Seated in the train ascending the higher elevation, the panorama is one of indescribable and stupendous magnificence. The majestic mountains form a striking background.
