      General notes:
Plat Map of a claim that just 14 months later has got a Red Ink Note added to it, where the acreage is quite much affected but I personally find it very hard to find that sizable reduction showing on the Red Ink used on the Plat Map claim markings so I don't follow when the surveyor try to tell me. The Red Ink note is a about reduction for due to some conflict with an August lode, no mineral survey number stated so it might never had been an official claim.
graphic for visual presentation of text The claim marked as two-parts, the large north area where the Discovery Cut are located and also drawn with a Tunnel heading north from it, with 4 more Shafts south of that Cut, in addition to another smaller Cut also south of the Discovery Cut. One Shaft is on ground not marked as being on this claim, and in the South part of the claim there is marked a Shaft as well.
graphic for visual presentation of text On the USGS 1903 topo-map the shaft marked to be for this claim is just north of the Tunnel from the Discovery Cut, possible connected, the accuracy on my overlaid maps are not good enough to say for sure, but it is a likely.
