Cropped view showing mining operation at the Mohican/Mohegan Mine location. Not the best view, but it is a long distance shot from high up along 7th Street in Victor, so hard to get a good quality shot. There is some form of a simple structure at upper part, and a chute down to an ore-bin along the M.T. mainline going behind Victor houses in its route along the hillsides. Looks like there is some form of a rock breaker up there, possible they are working the dumps more than a hole in the ground, but location is about where the Mohican was, hence me locating it there. The 1908 Sanborn map for this mine indicates there was a siding there, but I doubt that is in this timeframe of this view.Cropped View of Mining Operation at the Mohican Mine, From a A View Along 7th Street in Victor.
