Trilby Mine is Breaking Into Phonolite Dyke Found in Gold Sovereign
The Trilby mine is just breaking in upon a phonolite dike found on the Tabor by Wm. Dugan and George Bradey, lessees of Gold Sovereign, about a month ago. This phonolite dike in that lease is about sixteen feet wide and followed by a basalt dike of about four feet width, and one return shown your correspondent of a shipment made was almost six ounces gold. The dike seems to run in a north and south direction.

Trilby Lessee Reports Rich Ore at 575 Feet
Trilby.—It is reported that the Bayard Mining and Leasing Company, operating this Bull Hill claim of the Moose company under lease, has encountered exceedingly rich ore at a depth of 575 feet.

graphic for visual presentation of text The ore is now being sacked for a trial shipment. The company has been shipping from one to two cars of rich ore a day for some time. This ore has been extracted from the two veins which have proved so valuable in the Gold Sovereign, the adjoining property.

Trilby with Heavy Production
The Trilby Mines Co., James T. Stewart, general manager, has made heavy production since the first of the month, shipping from the Trilby mine on Bull hill to the valley plants. The ore has been graded, the content varying from about 1 to 2 oz. gold per ton.

Trilby Mines Co. Report by General Manager Stewart
The report of General Manager Stewart of the Trilby Mines Co. to the shareholders, setting forth conditions in the main workings of the Trilby mine, show a most satisfactory condition. Immense ore bodies have been developed in all levels from the fourth to the thirteenth, and by computation the ore in sight is valued at $750,000, awaiting treatment at the company's mill, now in successful operation.
graphic for visual presentation of text Those ore bodies are of great width, the shoots in the tenth level measuring 40 ft. across, the eleventh level shoot is 60 ft wide and in the twelfth level this ore body has been opened for 500 ft. This ore, classed as milling grade, carries an average value of $8 a ton in the tenth level, $12 in the level below and $9 in level 12.
graphic for visual presentation of text Two ore shoots have been developed in the deepest level. No. 1, 64 ft. from the shaft, is 4 ft. wide, and the average value is close to 4 ozs. gold or $80 a ton. The No. 2 shoot in the same level is 12 feet wide and is of milling grade.
