View is Enhanced, Straightened, Cropped, Scaled, Colored, from the DPL image P-944. I did procure the colored version of this image. Source was grayish, or in common speech black & white. Used an online service and tweaked and worked with image to get what looks best to my eyes at the moment.

Plat map shows the Discovery Map about middle of claim and in the northern part there is a second Shaft with a Shaft House. Claim is located just east of Deadwood. The development consisted by 1906 of a shaft 600 feet deep, 300 feet of which had recently been completed, and three levels at 100-foot intervals. Development in the lower part of the mine was in progress in 1906.
