Fort Pitt Happenings Fort Pit Company.—This company is now sinking its incline shaft on Galena Hill an additional 100 feet, which will give it a depth of 500 feet. Much interest is being shown in the work, as Galena Hill has been considered out of the producing area, although some rich ore was found and shipped from this and the Sedan, which adjoins the Fort Pit, a few years ago.
The Fort Pit won its apex suit against the Sedan, and will now push development for the purpose of finding the source of the ore shoot.
