      General notes:
Map shows a claim that is broken up by other claims like the Fortuna, Kohnyo, Adams and Jefferson - sadly the two last named ones has been impossible to find as per summer of 2012 as claim maps.. Still, the map shows some nice things. There is a Road and two Ravines at the low south end, meeting just south of the claim border, and there is a Road near the north border.
graphic for visual presentation of text The Discovery Shaft is found very near the north border, inside a narrow long triangular shaped ground still with the claim, while about 1/3 south of the north border there is another triangular shaped piece left along the east border, which also holds a Shaft. Rest of the claim is in southeastern corner, seems to be about the biggest piece, and has nothing on it except one of the before mention ravine's.
graphic for visual presentation of text The lost ground includes info as well as I find a Shaft House on the Kohnyo claim (about middle length of the Jolly Tar claim boundaries) and a second Shaft House on the Jefferson claim (about 1/4 south of the north border of the Jolly Tar claim). There is also two more Shafts shown on the Jefferson ground further west, while there is seventh Shaft shown on ground that seems to have been taken by the Fortuna claim, also about middle length of the Jolly Tar claim boundaries, near the east border.
graphic for visual presentation of text Must been some hefty fighting over claim rights here I suppose.. It appears the mining was done through the discovery shaft.
