Santa Rita tunnel Used by Lessees to Supply Mill
Victor.—Frank Caley and associates, operating on the Santa Rita, on the south slope of Squaw mountain, have renewed shipments to the small cyanide mill on the property, and from now on they expect to handle about 15 tons of ore daily.
Operations are conducted in the Santa Rita tunnel at a point approximately 300 feet from the portal, where a soft oxidized vein varying from six to eight feet wide is being broken. Values range from $7 to $15 in gold to the ton.
