This is a very long article, practically 4 pages, from the pages of the Engineering and Mining Journal weekly journal of November 4, 1905 (page 818-821), holding lot of info about the early talk and ideas into what would later become the Roosevelt Drainage Tunnel, it's ideas, options and techniques leading up to it. This is a very long article, nearly 5 pages, from the pages of the Mines and Minerals monthly journal of April 1909 (page 387-391), holding lot of updated info about the Roosevelt Drainage Tunnel, it's progress and techniques behind it. I found it rather interesting.

This is almost a full 2 page article from Engineering & Mining Journal issue of 3rd October 1903. It talks about a new way of rock-handling at the Portland Gold Mine Shaft 2, with some drawings used.

This near 2,5 page article published in the  Mines and Minerals monthly journal of May 1908 (page 478-480) talks about how mining has an upswing in the District, how Leasing has had an effect, and allot of how cheaper handling of ores at the mills has had a great impact, giving some examples on the way.

This 5,25 page article comes in two parts, the first part is 2,25 page long and was published in the Mines and Minerals monthly journal of April 1908 (page 422-424), while next part appeared in the May 1908 (page 481-483) issue. The article is rather technical, but mention quite a lot of info.

The Isabella and the Wild Horse Mills are described in the first part, while the second part describes the Blue Flag Mill, an auxiliary mill to the Standard Plant in Colorado City and a cyanide plant at the Portland Chlorination Mill between Colorado Springs and Colorado City (along the Short Line).

This is a 1,5 page article dealing with the start of the Roosevelt Drainage Tunnel, found in the Mines and Minerals monthly journal of July 1907 (page 535-536). Much of the article mention the festivities around the naming of the tunnel. It ends with some technical info.

This is an 2 page article from the Mines and Minerals monthly journal in August 1898 (page 10-11), mention some of the recent happenings around the Cripple Creek District.

This is an 15 page long article from the September 1899 issue of Engineering Magazine (page 953-967), talking about the use of electricity for the mines in the District. Quite an interesting article I think.

This is an article from Engineering & Mining Journal issue of 7th march 1903 - and as name indicates, it deals a little with some of the head frames in the Cripple Creek District - including some nice drawings that I was happy to get my hands on.

This is an 4 page long article from the Mining & Scientific Press issue of 23rd August 1913 (page 297-300) and is talking about how Leasing and Low-Grade Milling has been working at Cripple Creek.

This is a scanned old topographic map that I've put into a PDF file so it could become a searchable map and hence make it a little easier for me to locate mines without messing up my paper copy.
